Shari Landry MOT, OTR/L

Shari is an Occupational Therapist who moved to Virginia in 2024 from Vermont, and from Colorado before that. She graduated from University of New Hampshire with her Master's in Occupational Therapy in December 2016. She spent a few years working in schools, from preschool to high school, before working in outpatient pediatrics since 2019. She has a wide range of experiences: doing farm-based therapy focused on project-based skill building, vocational training for teens and young adults, feeding intervention for young children and teenagers, and functionally driven developmental skill building. Shari has experience with getting adaptive equipment needs met for families as well as creatively problem solving access needs. In addition to working with ATC, Shari works part time at UVA, doing developmental assessments. Shari's training in feeding emphasizes the importance of relationships and autonomy through food exploration. She is excited to bring her enthusiasm and expertise to Early Intervention at ATC. She loves being an occupational therapist because she gets to make meaningful relationships with families and bring play and joy into making everyday challenges a little bit easier. When Shari is not working, she loves to craft and create, walk in the woods, and explore good food with her husband, Nick.
