Kyla Saby MOT, OTR/L

Kyla is a 2014 James Madison University graduate with a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006. Kyla worked with children and families as an Americorps volunteer from 1999-2001, and as a Spanish teacher at North Branch School from 2008-2010.

Kyla has experience with a variety of diagnoses, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism, Sensory Processing Differences, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety, Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delay, Learning Difficulties, Emotional Disturbance, and Hemiparesis. She has worked in the schools as well as in the clinic setting.

As a mother, Kyla is familiar with the difficulties and delights that come with parenthood. It gives her great joy to work with children and facilitate development of their functional skills and overall wellbeing. She brings creativity and a holistic perspective to her work. Kyla is a fluent Spanish speaker, and sees clients in the Waynesboro and Charlottesville locations.
