Gillian Hatch M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Gillian is a speech-language pathologist who received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Virginia. She currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the Virginia Board of Health Professions and the Arizona Department of Health Services. She has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for ten years and has worked with clients from a wide range of background throughout Virginia and Arizona. Gillian has experience working with children and adults in early intervention, outpatient clinics, home therapy, and PK-12 schools. She has worked as an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) specialist/facilitator and family trainer in school and outpatient settings. Gillian also has experience working with people with communication delays and disorders in the areas of receptive and expressive language, articulation and phonology, childhood apraxia of speech, fluency, feeding, pragmatics, and voice, and with a wide variety of medical diagnoses, including: down syndrome, autism, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, and a variety of genetic differences. Gillian sees children in the Waynesboro and Charlottesville locations.
